THIS JUST IN!!! Santa Monica Hambly sighting...
Apparently this morning at the LASP/Team NutriBullet run in Santa Monica, there was a Hambly sighting! Yes, you heard right... Scott Hambly, Los Angeles Speed Project front runner was seen jogging 5:18 pace with the Team due to fatigue from running 26 miles the day before. His legs were stiff so he just did an easy 7. Okay, okay... fine! He went home and ran 13 miles later at a much faster clip for his actual workout.. Either way, the Santa Monica Hambly sighting has been confirmed by multiple sources. -LASP 12/20/12

Tougher Standards for 2016 Olympic Marathon Trials
2016 Trials, men will have to run 2:18 or faster vs. 2012 Trials 2:19
2016 Trials, women will have to run 2:43 or faster vs.
2012 Trials 2:46
Men’s "A" Standard 2:15 or
faster
Women’s “A” Standard 2:37 or faster
"The main thing in revising the
standards is to continue to 'raise the bar,'" Jim Estes, director of
events for USATF, told Runner's
World Newswire. "That seems to have worked if you look at 2012
compared to 2008--the numbers were higher, both overall and as far as the
number of 'A' qualifiers."
